Specialties
Sandra seeks to provide a warm, calm, and compassionate presence out of a foundation that is centered on faith, and resourced by education and experience. Her therapeutic approach considers the whole person - body, mind, and soul. Her training equips her to support individuals from a variety of faith backgrounds.
She works with individuals and couples who are seeking assistance in navigating interruptions to their lives. She offers clients accompaniment for the first step or the next steps of their journey. She guides these individuals in the foundations of self-esteem, such as boundaries, self-care, and communication. Therapeutic concerns may include stressful life interruptions (such as job loss, retirement, & relationship changes), challenges of gender/racial/ethnic/economic and other social injustices, anxiety and depression, relational and spiritual concerns, addictions, co-dependency and trauma. Individuals whose lives are interrupted by anger, perfectionism, loss, life stage or career changes, grief, women’s issues, health concerns, intrusive thoughts or behaviors, trust injuries, as well as other personal and relationship concerns can begin steps toward better days.
